I am so glad you were able to find a Vet to help out with this! a lot of us have to go it alone and it can be a scary thing. Crossing fingers and toes that Huey is going to pull through this with just the meds and no surgery. Poor guy, you do realize that he's 'yours' from now on? I have found that any of mine that have needed this kind of extra care have forever since stayed with me when I am around. To the point of sitting on my feet and rubbing up against me. Lol, it's great.

Hello happy New Years Okay hewy update he is doing really well know still trying to walk and keep up with his buddy also still on medication he didn't go to the vet because the vet had gotten sick so he scheduled him for this Monday check up

Okay hewy is doing great the vet said yesterday at his checkup the medication he gave hewy is working and the vest does not want to do surgery on him until he finishes all his medication then after that the vet will see if he going to need surgery or not
