my friend is bringing me some duck eggs to incubate for her... what are the things that are different between duck and chicken incubation?

Thanks you, these will be mallard eggsDucks take longer than chickens - how long they will take depends on the breed. Most take 28 days to hatch. Otherwise, they're fairly similar. Some people also mist their duck eggs, but I usually don't do that for mallard derived breeds unless hatch date is getting close and the air cells aren't as big as they should be.
Those will take 28 days thenYou'll want to put them in lockdown on day 25.
