my peking has a strange walk she spreads her wings leans forward real low legs are normal healthy and no broken or deformed bones no sores nothing wings did have blood feather issues but I isolated her letting the feathers grow out on their own and keeping an eye on her if they start bleeding again so far no issues. she is healthy pecking stuff eating good bathing drinking sleeping normal poop is loose at times to diareah but seems un affected by it. here is a picture of her walking posture can you tell me what is wrong with her she is 5 weeks old sprouting wing feathers

Even in same clutch their can be one or more that show up with a niacin deficiency. If you really want to see if this could be it I'd get some Liquid B Complex and begin her on it. If she isn't injured then it could be something she has had for a while it shows up in young ducklings and usually after they have been on it for less than a week for some they are showing good improvement. If you think she is over weight then cut out treats and just feed her starter but starter doesn't have the amount of niacin for Water fowl and we see problems like this a lot when that is what we have to feed. It's as simple as adding niacin to their diet or once they are showing symptoms give the B complex

ty for replies will get the stuff needed. the only injury is her wing tips there are plugs in the shaft of the feathers and don't bleed on their own but if pecked at they start so I keep her separated till they grow more and scabs heal up but she was walking like this before she sprouted feather ducts I had other birds before but none had this problem. ill boost her niacin and B intake when she is separated she don't seem to want to eat much so she is dieting herself and watching she don't go to thin. I let her out with the others so they forage together and she loved her bath with her mate in the tub he pecked a bit but it wasn't a hurtful peck he was getting what I missed of scabs off her and left her alone after that.

They don't need oyster shell till after laying egg..Possibly too much calcium...
they really don't eat the oysters they seem to peck and drop them lol and its only a pinch I was figuring a little piece to help bone structure they may have swallowed a pebble of one each and that be about it.
