Our female duck was stomped by one of our horses just a while ago. She has a huge gash on her chest between her wing and breast bone that is pretty deep. She is acting pretty hurt. She is still walking around and drinking, but is moving really slowly (i would be too). We washed it off and put some antheseptic spray from our horses on it (its is all that we have). Any suggestions on what we should do? Has anyone had this happen before? I don't want her to suffer so how will i know if the wound is too bad for her to heal from?
