Duck wheel “chair” pattern needed

My ten year old duck Wilma started limping on Saturday so I gave her some glucosamine (another vet previously directed me to do this if/when she limped due to arthritis) but by Sunday she could not walk at all.

I took her to the vet today and she told me she suspects it’s a tumor on one/some of her organs most likely due to her age.

I chose not to do xrays because it wouldn’t change the treatment. She shows no signs of pain thankfully and now that she’s a special needs duck I need to find a pattern to build her a little ducky wheelchair. I kid you not. It’s to help her be somewhat mobile while also avoiding sores on her chest and lame left leg due to sitting 24/7.

Anyone know of any good duck wheelchair patterns?

You can use pvc pipe

Oh ok, you could probably do something similar with pvc pipes, wheels on the bottom, and some fabric. On the website they had some different structured ones I guess for different needs?

Just make a cube from pvc with wheels on the bottom and sling.

Hey,

My husband made a wheelchair for our duck when she broke her leg. We quickly put something together in 2 days that she could use. If you are interested I how it was made, my husband would be willing to talk to you about it. Just PM me.

Here are some pictures. It wasn't perfect but it worked until she got better.

Here is a video of the first time she used it. She got better at it later.
