Yep 1 drake to 4 hens is a good ratio. Always sad when we have to give them up but it's what we have to do to keep our girls safe.

Let us know how she is doing. Hopefully just a sprain.

I watched her today. She can move the tip of her wing, but doesn't seem to be attempting to stretch it like the other.

Update: I let the ducks out of their pen to free roam today under supervision, and the hen is capable of flapping her wing. Should I still bind it up with vet tape?

It's still drooping. But she's able to lift it and groom under it, and flap it normally. We put a small pet carrier in the dog house for her to hide inside, but I don't know if she's used it.

If the drake are over mating her she may never get 100% she needs a break.
