Duck with bump on foot

Our ducks foot looks like this. I have read that bumble foot is on the pad of foot. What is this? What can I do? It looks so painful.

Looks like an abscess or yes maybe bumble foot. I would cut it open to see if anything drains out, then after rinse with hydrogen peroxide

May have to be a vet visit. Not sure I am comfortable with cutting it open.
