Hello, all.
Recently our girl duck had a bump on her foot, which we thought was Bumblefoot, because it looked an awful lot like one. We had cut the scab off, and inside we was told there should be a white, gooey plug which you should pull out. There was something white, but it was bright white and it was hard, so we thought it was a tendant so we left it. We left it, it healed over but it formed a new scab. Then today we just noticed that her joint was swollen and the bump was massive. She has also been limping a lot. We have been cleaning her feet and giving her Epsom Salt baths for her feet regulary, and we gave her some cream that prevents bacteria growing on her foot. We are very concerned for her, could it possibly be an infection? If so, what to do?
Thank you very much

I was thinking about Mildred, and the potato bandage that Marty1876 recommended. Perhaps you could try that. I feel there is something in there that needs to be drawn out, but I dislike cutting, due to infection. But she's already got a problem and sometimes you must.

WOW, ouch that looks painful, I have never had to deal with Bumble foot either but there is a GREAT link on Youtube that goes step by step on how to remove it and pack it once you have cut out the problem. If you can get over the thought of cutting them, you can do this. But it does look like there's something in there that needs to come out.
