Duck With hole in its leg

I had a duck get attacked by the neighbors dog and the dog ripped a big hole on the inside of her leg. It's big enough that you can see the muscle. I have been doctoring it with Cut Heal and Blue Kote and it does not seem to be getting infection, but it doesn't seem to be getting better either. What can I do to help it heal over? Or will it heal over?

Yikes! That sounds bad! I had a cat who got attacked by dogs and he had several punctures that were open all the way to his muscle layer as well. The vet has us keep it open, because he said it needed to heal from the inside out. I know this is usually the case with horses as well. He had us wash it out several times a day, and the vet put him on antibiotics. Since that was a cat and not a duck, I would call the doctor...Poor thing, I hope it gets better!
