Duck with hurt leg

I have a male mallard with a hurt leg or foot when he gets on the bank he can’t walk on it at all. We live on a lake and this time of year we have mallards that show up. Some of the males were going after him so I brought him up to the house and have him in an enclosure I have tried all day to find a rehabber and exotic vet but with no luck I felt his leg and can’t feel a break it isn’t cold or hot there is a black spot around it’s leg that looks like an abrasion so if anyone can help with advice I would appreciate it

It's so kind of you to try to help this duck. Since you can't find anyone to help, maybe you have a place you could safely keep him for a week or so to see if he improves? Do you have a place you could find duck food and secure him safely so he doesn't walk too much?
