Duck with injury is now off balance

He was gone this morning when I went out to the duck pasture. We have Bald Eagles nesting about 1/2 mile from here and Great horned owls, hawks, foxes, weasels, minks and coons abound. The way of all flesh..
.. but, one of the recently re-homed hens returned. We re-homed them about 10 miles away. I guess this happens. There's no place like home.
