swelling is down halfway and now he isnt eating anything but a fewmealworms how can i get him to eat? I put molasses in his water just incase its a toxin and today i got wazine 17 incase he would happen to have worms but i havent seen any worms at all his poop goes from mint green and white to green white and or brown...he did good yesterday outside with the flock he was hobbling around but he was getting depressed so i thought maybe he would eat if i had taken him out...his leg isnt as warm as it was...im still putting him in the tub with warm water but he doesnt like bathing in warm he wants cold...he is losing some weight from not eating but i can only get him to eat a few crumbles or pellets from my hand...i do not want to have to put him down and its just weird that he went from being in perfect health to this all of my other ducks are fine...ever since his leg injury hes going down hill :( he is the khaki cambell beside the white and fawn runner this was before he got sick i can get a few picks tonight when my husband come home of his leg...maybe someone can tell me whats wrong and what i can do for him...thanks in advance

Can you get him to a vet? It sounds like hes going downhill and needs real medical attention than you are giving him.

i think it may be to late he is slowly going down hill he ate fish this morning and now im not sure whats happening

no seeing a vet isnt possible considering he is about 2 hrs away i called him the other day and he told me to start the antibiotics but i took him out with the other ducks for about 20 minutes and he started to stand again but then i read that maybe he was cold so i brought him in and hes now in a box under the heat lamp and hes not laying his head on its side and barely breathing now...i thought maybe he had something stuck in his throat also so i gave him a little olive oil on a tiny piece of whole grain bread and he is not looking like hes choking on anything now either...i thought maybe the antibiotics maybe was messing with him but he was doing awesome lastnight...i think he may be lonely also but i cant keep bringing the female in and out in the cols especially since its going to be in the teens for the next 2 weeks and she dont like being inside all day...so what else can i do...i tried putting a teddy bear in with him but he dont like that ha haha thought about taking my tablet into the bathroom and playing some duck videos for him im not sure but he seems to be ok now ....so in a bit im gonna try feeding him some more salmon or boiled eggs
