Quacking
My Cayuga, Crow, has what I first thought to be bumblefoot on her feet. I checked her feet again after about an hour and a half of her and one of her flock mates sitting in a semi-warm bath (It’s very cold outside, I didn’t want to shock their systems with a hot one). I then realized that there’s no wound, just swelling around white scales on her feet. This injury was brought to my attention because she was limping very heavily on one foot. The other foot has some of the white swollen scales, too. She seemed very relieved when she could take the weight off her feet in the bath. I don‘t know what this is. Could someone tell me what’s wrong with her feet, and hopefully how to help her? She has many white feathers, could she just have developed white patches of scales thinner than the rest? If I must, I can keep her inside, but I would rather avoid that.
