Thanks! I do plan to let them free range. Once they get use to me feeding them. I'll let them out each morning and call them into the pen with the feed each eveing. The pond right next to there pen is over run with frogs. So when i do start free ranging them do you think I will still need to give them more protein? Or will the bugs, worms, tadpoles they free range be enough? Also I read you can give them crushed egg shells instead for the calcium, is that ok? Or just stick with the oysters shell? And the layer feed has yeast in it, is that diffrent then the brewers yeast?
If there is no obvious sign of recent injury then I suspect she will be just fine. The feed will be fine too, though you may want to think about adding some brewers yeast for the extra B vitamins that ducks need. You also might want to offer free choice oyster shell in a side dish.
All of my ducks get 16% lay pellets, so IMO, lay pellets are perfectly fine for ducks that are laying.
Congrats on the eggs!
Edited to add:
Metzer Farms suggests feeding laying ducks a feed with 17.5% protein, 3% calcium, and 0.4 % phosphorus. Your layer feed should be right on target for calcium and phosphorus but will fall a little short on the protein.

Tip - Read the ingredients on your bags of feed and check date codes to make sure they are fresh bags of feed.
