Duck won't eat anything but bugs

He was mauled by our dog and now he won't eat chicken feed or corn or anything but bugs. I cannot find enough bugs to feed him. Any help?

I would be willing to bet if all he had available was the feed he would eat it. He's not going to starve himself to death. Unless there is some medical reason from the dog incident.

What do you mean by "mauled?"

If he is still recovering from injuries, he may be attempting to get the extra protein required for the body to do that by eating bugs...

Ducks aren't meant to eat chicken feed and I don't know that they eat corn. They need a lot of water to help them swallow things. You dog may have caused internal damage to him that has gotten worse, since he wasn't treated by a vet.

Go to the "Other Backyard Poultry" forum and post on the Duck threads, so people that actually have dogs can respond.

Who told you that? It's completely untrue. Chicken feed is fine for adult ducks, as is corn. It helps them fatten up and stay warm in the winter. It's very good for them in reasonable amounts.
