Duck won't get off the nest.

I have a duck problem! My duck has started nesting - won't come out of the coop, has layed a bunch of eggs and hisses at you if you try a.) take the away or b.) shoo her out of the coop. She is the only duck I have, so the eggs will NEVER hatch. What should I do?? : )

Wear thick gloves, pick her up, and lock her out from the nest for a while. Remove all eggs, and continue to remove them daily. Don't let her set unless you want babies--it's hard on the duck's health, and pretty pointless if there won't be babies.

She'll be very upset at first, but should get over it pretty quickly. Good luck!
