Duck won't stop eating dirt... What do I do?!?

Tobacco is very poisonous to animals so take a bucket put dirt or sand in it and put your butts in it. Cig butts that is. Ducks will try and eat many things so you don't want to intentionally leave any thing around they may try.

My Ducks pick up lots of things too but so far no one has eaten anything except my flowers........Start a Butt bucket....

No, they will never grow out of foraging and investigating with their bill. That's what they're doing. The only way to keep them safe from the cigarette butts is to not have them or anything else you don't want them picking up on the ground. A simple ashtray will solve that. Ducks drill, forage for goodies all day, splash and make mud, dirty their water dishes and pool, poop everywhere, and act like ducks for the entirety of their lives. They're ducks
