So when we first got our Cayuga drake we were told he was a she. We couldn't tell though because he had so many of his feathers tore off of his back, tail and neck. I wasn't educated on the different quacks of guys and gals at that time either. So now that his feathers have grown all back, we have had him for about 6 months and have discovered that he is a she and won't have anything to do with breeding or swimming. I got one other duck from the same situation that acts like a normal duck. But this guy is just so different. The other thing that puzzles me is that the pads on his feet bleed sometimes. Anyone else experience any of this with their ducks?
