All of a sudden, one of my Pekin ducks won't use her leg and holds it up. I inspected it and can only find a few black spots, probably Bumblefoot. But is that what is causing her to hold up her leg and not walk on it? I have another Pekin that currently had Bumblfoot and she is still walking around. Not sure if I should be concerned, but please help me.

I'm not sure about the black spots but perhaps she sprained her foot in some way? That happens to my muscovys sometimes and they start limping :/

It probably will, but if u want to be on the safe side you can always provide supplements. TSC has a sav a chik supplement u can mix in with water. Its for chicks and ducklings but works great in adult ducks :)

Epsom salt compresses help with sprains. Keep an eye on that foot - early bumblefoot can cause limping. Catching and treating it early saves a lot of heartache.

Epsom salt is a laxative, so don't let the duck ingest any of it.
