Duck wormers

Hi iv been concerned that my ducks had worms so i bought and fed them wormer pellets for a week but one of my ducks is still coughing quite abit, could she still have worms? and which wormer would you suggest ? Thankyou x

Are you wanting to treat gapeworms? If so, may I suggest that you get a bottle of Valbazen and give that orally three days in a row? The dose I would use is 0.08 ml per pound of body weight.

She seems healthy in every other way shes eating plenty and still laying everyday. Just i seen that they cough with some worms which concerned me as i have heard her coughing now and again

A cough every now and then doesn't bother me too much. How many times in an hour does she cough?

2 or 3 times maybes. I might be just over cautious

Possibly if she gets worse like i say she hasnt changed behavior or seem poorly in any way just the cough

If you want to rule out gapeworms get a bottle of Valbazen or a bottle of Safeguard and treat her orally several days in a row.
