Ducks and chickens are different species with different DNA. They are both "poultry" to us, but when it comes to genetics, they are very different.

The roo and duck may be friendly, but the offspring just aren't possible.

After lots of research my little top knot is a girl. I read that if they have a loud quack its female and the softer voiced ones are males-along with the curly tails. Well neither of mine has a curly tail but one is all mouth and the other is very quiet. I didn't think they could have little babies. But this is my first time with ducks! Thanks to all who have helped answer my question!
