Duckie Separation

Okay, so I had too many male ducks. I separated two of the males and put them into a new pen until I can find them a new home. I have one problem. They don't really like being separated. The two males had to be forced (by me) into the house. Since it's a dog kennel, there is no door on the house, so I had to put up a piece of plywood (which they knocked down and I had to RE-apply with braces). When will they settle down and get used to this? They're playing with my sympathy. What should I do? Or should I do anything at all? Thanks!

Can you set up some fence so they can have a little more fresh air?

And perhaps a cup of hot tea or something soothing for yourself. They will not be happy with you, but this is a case of tough love to protect another duck you care about.
