Their new pen was and still is being used by broilers, but when I buchered all the rooster broilers leaving only the hens for one more week, I decided the ducks needed to GO out from the shed...they stunk! So they moved in the other day to what will be their permanent pen after the broilers leave. Here they are at their "pool".

There is nothing like getting them out of the shed! Ducks get stinky fast! They look happy and are adorable! Are they Cayugas?

I don't know... mine like things messy, but ADORE being clean, the place around them could be a sty, but they have to be cleaning, preening, and looking beautiful.

They are so cute, all muddy and stuff! Mine will seek out the ONLY mud muddles in the yard and go stomp and lay in them even though they have a nice clean baby pool that I rinse out 2x a day!

I wanted Cayugas so bad this year but ended up rescuing 3 pekins and khaki campbell!

Yes they're cayugas. I have 11 more ducks less than a week old. 7 cayugas and 4 silver appleyards. They're loving being outside.
