Hi all!

We got a few runner ducklings last week. Unfortunately, not all of them made it. We got a few replacements this week and I'm wondering if the new ducklings will be okay with the week old? One of the older seems a little more wary of the babies and not as friendly. We are planning to move them to a larger brooder in our garage next week.

Thanks!

They are all females if that makes a difference.

Size-wise, it’s fine, but they may need a few days to get used to each other. I’d put a fence between them for a day or two and then try supervised introduction. Expect some poking and prodding, but separate and try again later if there’s any mean bullying. They should be best friends soon.
