Duckling bags

My duckling Crash died earlier today, and my other duckling, Eddie, won't let me stay away from him for more than two minutes, and I just don't feel comfortable leaving Eddie alone when my whole family goes somewhere. Does anyone have any patterns for some sort of duckling carrier/purse/bag thing? I have also posted this in the Raising Baby Chicks section of the forum.

[TLWR]

We had that issue with the last ducklings at school. 2 died within 12 hours leaving one lonely duckling on Friday morning. I had them give him a stuffed animal (they went crazy and gave him 3 lol) and if they could find a mirror, add that - they weren't able to find a mirror.
I went in Friday night to bring him home and he was curled up snoozing with his bear. So I brought him and his bear home to hang with the other 3.

he should be fine if you give him something to cuddle with until you can find another duckling for him.

You can try to put a mirror in the pen with him.
