Duckling bill deformity

Hi, we just had our baby mallard duck hatch 5-29-2022 and he has a bill deformity. He seems to be doing well but it’s only been 12 hours since he hatched. I was just wondering if anyone has been through this, when, what and how did you start the feeding process. I did give him some water today and he did drink that and seemed to do ok… He does shake his head a bit too- don’t know if that’s because of his defect?? Please help! Pictures below . Thanks

They will require some extra attention when it comes to food as they are not as efficient while eating as the others. They can grow up though!
