Just got back from working outside of the house for an hour. Sweet duckling was trying to get up so I picked him up to hold him again for a bit, and wet his mouth. He passed away within two minutes of his being back with me. Feeling a bit emotional that he waited to die until I held him again and knowing that it was inevitable. Thanks for your responses.
