So I picked up these two ducklings on Friday. I went to go get them and when I got there, the conditions for their living were less than stellar. I was going to get 3 but she told me 2 had died during the night because the light somehow got shut off. She had one of my 3 left and then her sibling (Peg) who has a (looks broken to me) leg. So I took her too cause I knew she had no chance where she was. Peg chirps like a crazy duck just like all my others did as ducklings. Yesterday, the one (Harley) started breathing through her mouth and coughing some. She has never chirped. Always has sounded raspy. She is perky, eating, swimming, pooping, drinking...everything normal except for the lack of chirping and her breathing like this. Any ideas? Infection? clogged nostrils? How can I help her? She does NOT at all seem in any distress. Thanks!

Can she eat and swallow okay? Hard to say what maybe going on but might not be a bad idea to take the duckling to the vet if you can she may need an antibiotic. They sure are cute little ones.
