Duckling Breed?

I'm surprised that your TSC didn't tell you the breed! I have 2 stores that I go to, and breeds are always labelled.

I've never seen ducklings labeled at any feed store, TSC or otherwise. They're always mixed in one pen. Maybe ducks are more popular in your area.

They didn't have anything labeled other than "Assorted Ducklings/Bantams/Pullets/Straight Run". It did say they could be a migratory breed.

I think alot of feed stores get the "hatchery choice" ducklings. So it is basically leftovers. The only migratory would be mallards and they are pretty easily identifiable. The one you saw was probably a blue swedish or maybe a runner.

Thats odd that the other TSC's dont label their bins. Ours attaches a sign to each bin with a pic, name, price, and min number to buy. Mine sells mallards one week , pekins the next, then back to mallards ect. As for chicks they sell red sex link male and females in seprate bins each labeled and black sex link the same way.

If only all feed stores were that organized! We don't have TCS around here but I've never seen them labeled anywhere.

Here's another picture of them. Tried to get a more regular stance. I'm convinced they're Pekins at this point, though
