Duckling Brooder Setup Pictures Wanted!

We started out in my sunroom, in two 30 gallon totes, 3 cayugas in one, 6 females in the other, pine shavings, changed 3 times daily for first 2 weeks, one gallon chick waterers on Tupperwarecontainers with drilled holes in the top to catchthe water, worked nicely to keep things slightly dryer, and chick feeders, after 2 weeks graduated to (picture 2) one bedroom all bathroom suite, at 6 weeks, they upgrade to duckington estates(picture 1 and 3), the cayugas get a 2 bedroom all bathroom,(2 30 gallon totes on their sides with a 10 gallon in between sides cut out) and the ladies get a nice spacious open concept design,(kiddie pools) with a lounge off the back(green tote). Since 4 weeks, they spend their days outside, in an enclosed temporary pen setup, 10 gallon waterers separated with chicken wire with a kiddie pool and nights inside. Moving to permanent enclosure this week!!

I have 5 rouens in a kiddie pool, they are 10 days old today. I’m cleaning their brooder daily. I have rubber shelf liner as the floor with newspaper underneath. I had a heat lamp but just changed to a Brinsea EcoGlow today. The kiddie pool is in a room that right now has a base temperature of about 75 during the day when the sun is out. In order to keep the brooder comfortable, with a warm spot and a cool spot, I have a window in the room open, I have been closing the window at night when the temp can drop to the 60s. The ducklings all seem good, eating and drinking normally, and they are active and growing every day.

Can I leave the window open? I’m not sure how to even the temp out otherwise. If I keep the window closed it will get stuffy in the room they are in. Sometimes they seem to open and their mouths when they are lying around, but they are under or near the heater at the time. I just want to make sure they are comfortable and don’t overheat, thank you!
