duckling concern...

The bill looks muscovy too and the entire rear end. And i bet my neighbors dead horse that the one with the black dot on the head is a male.

I have both Pekin and Muscovy ducks and they do not look like Pekin they look like white Muscovy. I agree with the black one being a male. When they get upset does their head hair(okay feathers) stand up like a Mohawk? IF they do then for sure they are Muscovy. Our Pekin have yellow bills and feet not pink but Muscovy ducks do.

the one on the left is a male too. look at the huge feet.
now show us the feet of the last one so we can see if you have atleast one girl. But from what i can see this one is a big smaller already and if what i can see under it are the feet it should be female. My bet is a reverse trio.
Promise you mean raising the crest , right? looks awesome when they do it , espec. on the boys.

I couldn't even begin to tell you what breed they are, although they look really healthy, so I don't think a fungal infection is to be worried about.

I love the one with black on his head though. If they don't have names already, can I suggest Fonzie for that one?!

thanks to all that sent in their idea's and thoughts. I'm glad to hear that thwe dark spots is just feathers coming in. I do really find them adorable. They have gotten so friendly as they were very scared when we first got them. If they turn out to be all males or two males can they all get along?? I haven't noticed any feather raising when they get a fright. I do have a heat lamp in there crate/house, but I'm pretty sure they won't get any burnt feathers as it is up high enough.

Does it matter that I'm feeding them duck grower even if they get older. I have a big bag of the feed and I think I'll have it for a while.

Again thanks for all the replies.

Don't look anything like my peking ducklings Peking ducklings will have brown on them but not black. Don't worry about the feed you will be surprised how much they will consume as they grow. That bag will be gone before you know it.

I got three males out of three ducks i bought . THey grew up with each other and get along just fine. Now that they have the females and are old enough to mate ,they actually stand there and chatter when the other ones mate.
