Ducks are very sociable animals. The duck is going to need friends, ducks or chickens. Ducks love attention, if that's going to be from a human, another duck or another living animal. I would get another duck so he/she has a friend so the duck doesn't become depressed.
I wonder what could have happened. Is there a chance it could have been electrocuted? What kind of warmer are you using? Do you have a cat?Wow that's strange.
I have no clue where I can get a duck that age.
Try looking on facebook group pages in your area or even craigslist. The duck doesn't have to be exactly the same age, 1 to 3 weeks of age difference won't be a horrible difference. Are you keeping the duck inside or outside?
Was just about to move them outside before one died. I built them a coop.
Ya I would just look online for another duck or if you wanted to you could try and get two chickens and they would mix well most likely. Try to look for homesteader groups on facebook and ask on there. Someone might know a place near you with ducks or something.
