Oh Goodie :pop
here they are! I'm a little worried because when I picked one up to have a look at her she got sick :/ I handled your perfectly and she was sitting on my lap relaxed and half asleep! Is this normal? It was like water nothing dark? I was worried they were getting to big to quick with the 20% so I went and managed to get a 15% grower and there getting 50/50 till they get used to it :) the reason I thought this is because there a bit wobbly but not staggering just a little wobble when they stand sometimes,it's not niacin either because it was a broiler starter which has plenty of niacin and it's what the nutrients to recomended. There fully alert and look good but there feces is almost black but I was told it's just what there eating?

They look great, I have picked mine up before and i think pressing on the front of their chest makes them spit up water could have been stress too. Do they feel of a good weight they look good but those feathers can be deceiving Usually what they are eating comes out the color at the other end. What a great pose. If they are foraging daily i really don't think you have to worry so much about them getting to much protein because the other things they are eating is balancing it out. I have fed 20% protein in my all flock from hatch till end of life and have never had any problems with it.

I'm away a lot so there not outside much they just have a large stable to go around and have food 24/7 like all my ducks so if there hungry they can eat away :D once fully feathered they'll join the rest of the flock outside on twelve acres :D

Hi all I am new and absorbing all your fab advice... so thank you :) My 2 1/2 week old babies look like yours at the start of the thread :)
