duckling eye infection?

Deep water to dunk to keep eyes and nares clear is for all ducks not specific breeds. It’s not about swimming it’s so they can keep the eyes and nares clear
My babies from day 1 have water deep enough to dunk as their drinking water
If your worried about water mess then take a cake pan and use it as a spill catcher
Take a plastic container and cut holes in the lid big enough they can get the head in easy
This prevents them from jumping in and swimming making a mess but allows them to keep eyes and nares clear
As they grow I give larger containers
X2 my Runners love their pool so much they float and take naps in it. they need to be able to dunk their heads to keep their eyes and nares cleaned

i have a tub that’s actually used to put in the ground for outdoors fish areas! so they do have access all the time :) they just dont swim all the time i just used chamomile tea and cleansed it so im gonna retry that again in a few hours
