Duckling feathering

Yes, treats are the way to a duck's heart! :) Start by gently tossing treats near them when you are around, then slowly toss them closer to you over time so they come in closer for their treats. It can be a slow process, but they could be running to you and eating out of your hand in no time if you just have a little patience. ^-^

Bread is not a good treat for ducks, but you can try things like corn (canned or thawed frozen corn), mealworms, kale, peas, small pieces of banana, etc.
 
Ok perfect . I'll try some canned Vegys! We did get them out for a little bit. They seemed to hate it and didn't forage at all....

I think it's two females and one male. Any input?
 
Stay away from canned veggies, way too much sodium for ducks. I had a pekin drake that had feathers on his leg and I just noticed one of my baby cayugas has a feathered leg too.
