Duckling feathers

When should my ducklings start feathering in? We have 4 roen/mallard mixes and so far they are still downey at 3 weeks. They do have a few tail fethers growing in but they are tiny and don't look like a "real" feather.

I'm really new to ducks and have no clue what to expect - with the exception of a mess

I'm waiting for a reply with you. New to ducks, have 3 ducklings.
They're 3 1/2 weeks old and have the same tail feather thing going on. No longer cute little downy yellow critters - tall gangly, some white peeping through on their bodies. Pre-teen awkwardness.
Isn't it amazing how quickly they grow?

they feather slowly you will see a few here and a few there then a few days later there are more. then before you know it they are fully feathed and you are wondering when it happened. they are not like chickens and do it fast ducks take more time
