Duckling filling air sac/ is that normal

The first of my duck eggs pipped this morning, it’s day 29.
(I’ve hatched ducks lots so I know that it can take a long time)

When I candled it I realised it was completely filling the air sac and I couldn’t shine the light in at all. Is that normal?

Yes they move down into the air cell
