Actually it has 55ppm of niacin as per Purina.Flock raiser doesnt have enough b3. It doesnt even give the exact amount. I add supplements to mine.
Contact Purina, they will let you know how much niacin is in their feed. The tag says niacin supplement in the ingredients. I contacted Purina to see how much. They stated 55ppm. I know their mazuri duck feed has 80ppm of niacin, so I add a little more via their water just to make sure my ducklings get enough.Just took this... Cant find anymore info even on on their website!! Yep. Vitamin B complex tablets are cheap and easy. (Not sure if this has been replied already.)Niacin is just vitamin B3. Has anybody ever just got B3 and crushed it u p?
That might be an easier option for you
Here is some info you may like:I buy liquid b complex. Which has several different vitamins in it. 1mL of the liquid complex (which is the amount you can give to ducks with a niacin deficiency) is the equivalent to 400 brewers yeast pills. It’s crazy. You would have to get a duck to eat 400 brewers yeast pills every day. I know nutritional yeast is supposed to have more niacin but I haven’t looked it up.
