Chick starter in my local TSC comes in medicated or non medicatedI’ve always fed my baby ducks the DuMor chick starter from tractor supply. If you buy from rural king you should get the meat bird formula because the chick starter is medicated and I’ve heard it can make them very sick.
That's another myth. A 100 gram duckling doesn't eat much more than a 100 gram chicken chickThat may very well be true. I was always told that because ducklings eat so much they can over medicate themselves and I was never brave enough to test that theory lol
Feeds with amprolium and/or bacitracin will not make them sick.I’ve always fed my baby ducks the DuMor chick starter from tractor supply. If you buy from rural king you should get the meat bird formula because the chick starter is medicated and I’ve heard it can make them very sick.
All Tractor Supply stores also sell Purina Flock Raiser, some sell Nutrena All Flock, and a few now sell Purina Duck Starter.Chick starter in my local TSC comes in medicated or non medicated
Are ducklings not suppose to eat chick started food? What do they need? I asked them at rural king and tractor supply and both told me that was fine . Now I’m freaking out!!!
