Duckling Grit?

Hey! I was wondering if you should feed ducklings grit. If so when should you start feeding it to them? Also, how should it be offered? How much? Thanks in advance!

If you are feeding them anything except commercial feed they need grit. You can get paver sand, not play sand it's too fine, or buy chick grit from feed store.. Just put in small bowl, freechoice. They will take it as they need it. And should always have available til they can go outside full time and get their own. If your putting them in a run with no dirt available they will need it then too.
