Duckling has a sore!!

Hi everyone,

I just got two ducklings 3 days ago and one of my ducklings has a hard sore on the belly area, which I believe where it’s sexual organs are. I know that ducks don’t display anything on the outside of their body. Can someone please help me in identifying what this is and if I should be taking it to the VET, I’m very worried! (P.s. this is my first time raising ducks)

I think your best line of route would be seeing a vet. It appears the tissue prolapsed at one point in time, and now has become necrotic; that will prove difficult for the bird to defecate properly, and could predispose the bird to an infection of the area.
