Duckling hatched with yolk sack not absorbed

I haven’t seen one survive with that much not absorbed, but 24 hours, active, and already pooped are positive signs!

I expect it is probably continuing to absorb some from inside that sac, but at some point, that will stop and it will probably have most of the dried crusty outer part left hanging.

I would eventually tie it off with some dental floss or thread, and let it dry up and fall off.

She’s doing well! She’s drinking and playing with the other ducklings. Here are a couple pictures of her yolk sack today - it looks like its a bit smaller today.
