We're in Rutland County, and our vet referred us to Eastwood.
You could try Essex Veterinary Center - they do televet for all of their poultry and fowl. Not sure how you could get the meds without driving to Chittenden County.

I have a friend that lives in Rutland County as well. I'll ask her who she takes her chickens and exotics to.

Right on cool, thank you. Actually I think if Essex Veterinary Center can send me the script, I can get it at Tractor Supply. If my wife's store doesn't have it she can get it as far as I know.

I totally forgot TSC does scripts now so that'll work out. I haven't had to use Essex in awhile since my dog's vet has been able to see my chickens for the simpler things, but I remember Dr. Elizabeth being very responsive, even on the weekends, when I would televet.

What is going on with her right foot and leg? can she stand up and walk? if you aren't offering niacin as a supplement I'd rec you go to TSC and get Durvet liquid B complex and start giving 1 ml over a tasty treat 1x a day. All ducklings need niacin in their diet and when one is having problems the liquid b complex works the best and fastest.

Thank you for the information, it's always good to have dependable resources. I was a little taken back by Eastwood's response.

Not quite sure, what's wrong with Quacker's foot, it doesn't seem to stay open, so I think it contributes to em falling over when trying to stand. Quackers is doing better, then the other day, but still not 100%. We were giving em the Durvet1/2 mL in the food, but then we had the episode the other day, so we switched to a brewers yeast with garlic for poultry.

You can make a little shoe to keep the foot flat, take a butter container or something similar cut it into the shaper of her foot. Wrap with tape or vet wrap to protect the sharp edges then lay the foot on it and wrap with vet wrap just make sure it's snug but not cutting off circulation. Does she keep both legs in normal position when she stands?
What was the episode?
