Duck love is recognizable in any language
So I have 4 ducklings right now, two coming estimated the 14th. Two are Cayugas, one black Swedish and one blue Swedish, and the others in the incubators are Pekins. The problem is I don't know when to take them outside and they are STINKY! But I love the little stinkballs and I want to know they will not die if I take them out.. Where I live is crazy weather right now (in Alabama?!) Sometimes it can be in the 50s and the other day in the 80s... is that too cold/hot? And I am fixing to make a see but no touch brooder in the duck house will that work? How big does it need to be? I have 2, 1-year-old Pekin ducks in the duck house and will they peck at the screen? I want to have a brooder just like the chickens- it has the door on top and the see screen is on the side- it hangs from the wall and it has the heat lamp in there with food and water and the lid has a security lock. Will this work? My Blue Swedish is about 2 weeks old and the rest are 1 week. Will they try to kill the newborns? The eggs hatch April 14th (as said above). Please mention anything else I need to add.
