Duckling help please???

Hi, this is my first post on here so yeah....
I recently bought 2 ducklings this wasn't on impulse type of thing I spent about 2-3 weeks prior doing research and deciding 'yes I do want ducklings'. I have had my ducklings for 2 days already and they both are 3 weeks old so they can't imprint on me (sadly D. I have them in a plastic tub near my bed and somehow they managed to climb out of it (I'll probably have to buy a new BIGGER one or just move them into the bathtub in the back restroom since no one uses it) and waddle around my room chirping their heads off until I wake up and then they'll go run and hide in a corner once they realize I'm awake. They also do this when I walk out of the room they'll start to chirp up a storm and when I come back they get quiet and "hide" in their box or when I'm sitting down they'll chirp and get quiet when I turn around to look at them. Previously they were out door ducks taken care of by their mom but, the person who sold them to me said the mother had passed away. So basically, my question is how long will it take for the ducklings to get used to me and maybe stop chirping so much?

Ps. If you have any other tips or such I would glad to read it^^

Well the ducklings might get use to you, and all. But they will defiantly stop chirping when they get their new honking voices. Basicaly, it will be replaced by big ducky noises. Our Ducklings still quack and honk, they quiet down some when they get older. It's only when we approach them or go into the same Room or near them do they quack and honk.

Spend a lot of time with them- but not so much so as they may become overly attached. Do what you normally do on a daily basis and they will be used to you and your routine and they will have their own.
They are likely just adjusting to their new environment. Hopefully in time they will settle a bit on the chirping

When I first found a line Mallard in a parking lot she was young enough that she became very attached to me and followed me EVERYWHERE. all the other times I had ducks though I had the same issue as you. One thing that made them more comfortable with me is just sitting down with them and every now and then giving them little ducky snacks like fruit.

Time, treats (bath time is a treat too!), and a soothing voice will work wonders.

Ok^^ Oreo has recently warmed up to me to the point he'll eat off my hand and let me pet him without freaking out but, coco is still wary of me I also think she is sick? Please check out my other post for more details....

Let her watch Oreo Eat from your hand. Spend more time on the ground. Try not reaching for her, or going after her. That way she can see the other duck take a liking to you and you not harming the other duckling. Sometimes that helps with them becoming more comfortable. If you just let it be, and spend more time. At as close to their "Level" As you can get.
