duckling help!!!!! plz need the info ASAP!!!!!!

hi i have had duck eggs in the bator for 4 weeks i think and im gettin bit worried, i candeled em yesterday and 5 had shadows in 1 had shadow and a blue vain and 2 were clear. does this mean anything?
also i can the brooder be kept in the garage? (in england)

2 clear most likely weren't fertile. Can you see air sacs in the ones with shadows? Not sure about a blue vein. The duck eggs we've incubated were pretty dark when getting ready to hatch, but we could clearly see the air sac. If it has been 4 weeks you should start hearing peeping and maybe see the eggs moving soon. Good luck

hi yes we can see the air sack-its pretty big! i canded them agian and it works out that there was no blue vain- just a blue string! i cant hear any peeping tho

The bigger the air sack the closer to the end. I've only hatched under broody ducks, but it seems mine are always a few days later than I think they'll be. Just when I'm ready to give up, I'll get a pip, so hang in there for a few more days with the dark ones.
