Duckling help!

The babies will need non-medicated starter feed.
I hate to bring this up again, but this not true. Most medicated starters contain amprolium and/or bacitracin, both of which are perfectly safe for waterfowl. However, many medicated and non-medicated chick starters do not contain enough of the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that ducklings need, so best to find a feed formulated for ducklings.

Thanks for the correction. Non-medicated chick starter has worked just fine for me and is the easiest to find in my neck of the woods lol :)

Yeah, lots of people do feed chick starter, and I think some brands are probably better than others. Glad you got a good one!

And just to be clear, I am not recommending people feed medicated feed, just want people to know that medicated feeds containing amprolium and/or bacitracin are safe for ducklings. :D
