The babies will need non-medicated starter feed.

I hate to bring this up again, but this not true. Most medicated starters contain amprolium and/or bacitracin, both of which are perfectly safe for waterfowl. However, many medicated and non-medicated chick starters do not contain enough of the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that ducklings need, so best to find a feed formulated for ducklings.

Thanks for the correction. Non-medicated chick starter has worked just fine for me and is the easiest to find in my neck of the woods lol

Yeah, lots of people do feed chick starter, and I think some brands are probably better than others. Glad you got a good one!

And just to be clear, I am not recommending people feed medicated feed, just want people to know that medicated feeds containing amprolium and/or bacitracin are safe for ducklings.
