No, I was thinking more your Muscovy drake with your tan female. If your small black one is a musovy hybrid which I think she is, she will not be able to lay fertile eggs so it would be impossible for her to be the mom.So you think I could have mallard father and the babies are from the small black female? Only reason I think the mallard is the father is because he was the only one I seen doing the deed with her and my Muscovy was never seen near her, but I don’t no what happened in the duck house over night maybe the Muscovy snuck on in at one point while the mallard was sleeping

X2@Bs11luke can you post a pic of your male "mallard"? Lots of breeds have a green head as you describe, even some runners.
