Duckling ID Trivia, name the breed.

Looking at their website their colorations don't look Ideal. Who has seen a rouen with black feet? That cant be standard?

My rouen duckling origionally had mostly black feet and legs with pink between it's toes. The black has faded out partially. 1st pic is now, 3 weeks old, 2nd pic is the foot at a day old.

Oh yeah! Lol I keep looking at a bunch of duckling pics trying to match them up and didn’t realize they didn’t carry Harlequin.

As for the Blue Swedish I believe I read they don’t breed true. So I wonder if their ‘Blue Swedish’ are sometimes Black Swedish. I see other places claim there may be black and splash in the orders.

That's a Non-Industrial Rouen, not a Production Rouen which is what Hatchery's sell.

I just got some new ducklings from Ideal hatchery. What breed do these look like? And are they gender identifiable?
There are 4, two yellow with black frosting on head and tail, as well as a blackish streak right behind the eyes and pink bill with black tips fading into gray and mostly pinkish white feet with graying accents.
Two black Ducklings with yellow chest and one with yellow tipped wings and yellow dot near eye. Their bills are black with pink/whitish on edge and mostly black feet with some pinkish white in some of the webbings.

They are all adorable!!!

If you actualy read it then you know that production rouens are supposed to look the same but are a few pounds less.

I seriously have no clue what you are talking about, grown Rouens have orange legs, Rouen ducklings have black. This applies to both production and quality type Rouens.

Maybe I'm just confused, my dads rouens never had black feet.
