Duckling is breathing heavily

Looks like he is too hot, I'd put them in a bigger brooder so he can move away from the heat as needed. What kind of bedding are you using?
Yes I gave him lots of water in a bowl as opposed to his usual water feeder so he can directly drink it. The brooder I have is very large its a 50 gallon tub I wonder if he doesnt realize he is hot and just stays in a corner sometimes. Either way I feel that my ducks do not prefer the heatlamp being under them even when it is far up, could it be that pekin ducks are more prone to getting hot?

50 Gallon tote isn't that big, I'd give them a bigger brooder if you can. Pekins do seem to get hotter than most breeds.

@DuckyDonna @MasterOfClucker @Miss Lydia Hello All, sorry to bother again but I wanted to provide an update, I held the duckie in my hands and brought her to a cooler environment and she was still panting. She has not been like this before and it has only started for 2 days. She was not like this this morning and was running around outside with the other ducks. Is there any other reason than being hot that she feels this way? Should I maybe bring her outside with the ducks for a bit ( I live in florida and the temp right now is about 78) to see if she cools off or it is something else?
